an image that speaks

Comic I love this image as it raises questions in my mind and gives answers to me.  what does this image speak to you?    are we attempting to accomplish and progress in life in vain?   do you ever feel what you do leads to little impact or fruit?   could it be that the evident and clear instructions are often ignored or neglected?

I think we sometimes ignore the instructions that are right in front our faces because the truth of what is on the other side of the door is scary to us. It's like we do all these other things to make it look like we are trying to get there, but we're just dancing around the actual solution. If we were to just open the door and go in, we would be right up close and personal with whatever we were attempting to get to in the first place. We can be "pushy" all we want, but once we open that door we have to be personal.
