facing surgery

it has been a unique journey in both emotional and physical terms with this intense pain i have experienced for 4 months now - i am having disc-replacement surgery on monday and will have my disc removed and replaced with a bone from a dead person -- i have been assured that this bring relief to the pain that has occured has it has been pressing on my nerves and spinal chord -

i value your prayers -   My own mortality has been staring at me in the face during this whole ordeal and knowing how limited we are physically -  God has been present during this pain, as he always wants to be.

Joel,

I'll be sending up prayers for you. My father-in-law had the fusion surgery (I guess that's the older version of what you're having) a few months ago, and he is a new man from having done it. Praying for the same for you, and for your anxious thoughts to flee in the meantime.

We're in town now if you need anything,

Greg Hubbard
