Kyle Lake's death

Kyle Lake and I were at Baylor together. We were not close friends but I have very vivid memories of several times we were together.   He married a former roomate of mine's sister (Scott Gornto's sister)  I got several calls today informing me of his death. He pastored UBC in Waco, TX.  - Where Dave Crowder band is.    Kyle and Jen have 3 children.  His death really has touched me as we were the same age. I last saw Kyle at an Emergent conference a few years back.   This morning he was baptizing and the microphone fell into the water and caused his death.  Please pray for his family.   My love to all of his family...

first kiss in san antonio

we made it to san antonio a few weeks back -  Our first kiss was on this exact bridge in 2000.  We  made it back to San Antonio just 1 month after our wedding in 2001 (no kids)

And returned to the same spot, same bridge just 1 month ago with 2 kids!  We hope to make it back every few years for more photos of a growing family
